To be considered, companies answered a questionnaire about the services they provide and their revenues. Companies were listed alphabetically with stars indicating the revenue category the company falls into. LDG has a two-star ranking, indicating it has over $1 million, but under $10 million, in land surveying, mapping, and geospatial revenues in calendar year 2015.
According to a news release from POB, “Among those companies looming large in geospatial revenues, Larson Design Group actively lists 3D scanning, GIS/asset management, and survey among its services.”
Chris Iachini, director of geomatic operations for LDG, said, “Being ranked as a Top 100 geospatial firm by POB is reflective of our commitment to the industry and technology.”
This is POB’s second annual Top 100 Companies list, and LDG’s first appearance on it.
Responsibilities include estimating, managing, and scheduling five full-time survey crews, two Project Coordinators, one Project Manager, and all of the projects they are involved with, from writing proposals to quality administration in the office and in the field, through final staking, construction, and plan delivery for the various survey projects
